overview

DC Witness brought me in for phase 2: move the site off a blog feel and into a real news-site aesthetic: story hierarchy, section navigation, and layout patterns readers expect from a newsroom, not a personal blog. I worked within their existing brand guidelines rather than rebranding, and rebuilt on-page SEO throughout the redesign. Since launch, organic traffic is up 30%.

The slider tells most of the story: same brand colors and type, restructured to read like a news outlet instead of a blog feed. Phase 2 focused on visual hierarchy, cleaner navigation, and SEO fixes under the hood.

Jace was brilliant. He gave our website a much-needed facelift for phase 2 of our redesign plan. The professionalism and modern design were amazing, working with him was great, and he's the best.
